Samuel Whitfield Nelson

I'm an Industrial Designer with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design with a focus in Social Sustainability from Iowa State University and an interest in outdoor gear and camping equipment. I am currently located in Akron, Ohio while searching for long term product design positions at small to medium sized companies.

Goals & design theory

My primary goal is to design products that get better with age. Good design is timeless. With experience in many outdoor fields such as backpacking, landscape photography, and hiking, I strive to make research grounded, sustainable products.
